Very good value, lights out at 11 pm - everyone sleeps! The security
has never been breached. Totally renovated from top to bottom, Richard

Beaulieu: A fun place with 8 rooms and a 2 family suites, each with
six beds? They have a nice little fun bar / resto with a wood stove
right next door . You can party with the locals, who are mostly weekend
tourists that own lake property, not hillbillies! :) You will dig
the 'locals'. Big John is the key to this place - hardly speaks a
word of English, but is determined to show you the best time. He will
drive you around to local towns and guide you to all the fun spots.
He likes his beer! Thank God for his wife Diane, she speaks English,
and holds the thing together. A really FUN place - have a great vacation,
on the cheap. It is the best kept secret in the Mauricie region. Best
trails, big snow.

Meet the big man
at the Trappers Lodge in the Mauricie. Drive half an hour north of
Shawinigan to this Swiss style log B&B. 12 rooms plus one cozy
romantic chalet in the woods. The dining room will hold 60 people
in comfort by a massive fire place. This place is amazing. You must
stay here at least one time. The food is awesom French cooking - You
MUST eat here at least - my favorite food. Trust me, The big man's
wife is outstanding in the kitchen.

A big beautiful
new high rise hotel next to the Sports Cage Restaurant in Mont Laurier
Quebec, 3 hours N of Montreal. Famous comfort here. This outfit is
next to a big Ski Doo dealership, and right on top of the snowmobile
trails. From here you can visit the amazing Devil's Mountain, and
access all the trails in the Northern end of the beautiful Laurentian
Mountains. There is also world class Skiing all around, Mont Tremblent
and more. The town itself has alot to offer the entire family, and
the host and owner is Marco - and he will probably go riding WITH
you, and party with you in his huge sports bar. Marco is a real sled
freak, not just a motel owner.

The true outback
wilderness area of Quebec, and amazing trails. A huge lodge and very
comfortable log cabins, great food, on beautiful lake Adonis. Wow.
Total new renovations, pool table, hot tub spa, bar, but not many
local folks dropping by. You are isolated here, and must focus on
the natural beauty of Quebec. Not many distractions. A great place
to bring a big gang, or come alone and experience peaceful days, and
silent nights. Great staff - again - on a radio phone, so be very
patient trying to contact these people.

Chute. (Auberge au Pied de la Chute) is a very nice motel on the lake
with 10 newly renovated rooms, plus an amazing spa house with hot tub
and sauna. Super clean, nice dining room, nice family business, Carol
and Denny will spoil you. They had a successful restaurant for 17 years,
and sold it five years ago to renovate this lakeside snowmobile destination.
They are not novices! Great customer service here, and very secure.
